New realease - version 2.3 is now available. It provides a series of new functionalities and efficiency improvements allowing users to tackle a broader range of CFD cases. QuickerSim is an engineering software development and consulting company. It is also a product partner of The MathWorks Inc.
It has been founded by two PhD candidates in Computational Fluid Dynamics from the Warsaw University of Technology based on their experience from a number of scientific and industrial projects around the world. The company's mission is to deliver very efficient CFD environment as well as top quality services in engineering.
The key product is the QuickerSim CFD Toolbox for MATLAB. QuickerSim recognized a need for a flexible and lightweight environment for performing heat and fluid flow simulations. MATLAB was the obvious choice as it is very well established in the scientific and engineering community. Primary advantages of MATLAB are the boost in productivity as well as excellent customer support. It was decided to develop the software based on the finite element method, as this is a very well known computational approach - it is taught at virtually every technical university worldwide. It is also easily adaptable to problems in the field of solid mechanics.
