Changes in the distribution network at Baumann: As of the 1st of October 2009, Karin Middel-Taubken will represent the contract business for Baumann in Germany

Karin Middel-Taubken has been named as new contact person for the German customers of Baumann. Since October, the experienced management assistant for wholesales and foreign trade has been working in cooperation with Ulrich Bellinghausen, commercial agency, who supervises the industry and wholesale customers. Born in Hagen, her first experience in sales was working in the family-owned company, Middel & Bülling GmbH, a wholesaler for paint, wallpaper and flooring, where from 1979 to 1995 she was responsible successively for studio consultation and sales, product line selection and buying, in-house exhibitions as well as district sales management. After the family business was sold in 1995, Karin Middel-Taubken specialised in district sales managing at various companies such as, König & Kritzmann GmbH in Essen, a wholesaler focusing on decor and furniture upholstery and floor coverings and at Delius GmbH in Bielefeld, where she was a contract consultant for decorative, curtain and furniture fabrics and sun blinds. As a contract fabrics supervisor at the carpet manufacturer, AS Creation in Gummersbach as well as at Drapilux GmbH in Emsdetten, she was in contact with leading contractors and hotel operators. In addition, Karin Middel-Taubken was an honorary member of the Carpet and Flooring Association and the Technical Committees for many years. Even in her private life, interior design and decoration dominate her interests. She is married and has two grown children.
