CleanTab offers advanced sorting mechanisms for their song archive of over 325,000 tabs. Their patent-pending Tab Controls allow the user to reformat their tablature on the fly. An automated search engine regularly updates the database with new songs and provides purchasing information for users.
In a subtle jab, CleanTab recognized the disturbing amount of advertising on competitors web pages and clearly states their intention of keeping the amount of advertising to a minimum. Today, with the release of their latest version CleanTab added a host of new functionality to the site. All tab pages display videos, songs can be browsed by genre and tag, vast improvements were made to search functionality, and the overall speed and usability of the site was enhanced.
The company is the brainchild of veteran developer Rob McCullough. The team spent six months developing, testing and refining their unique guitar tab display engine.
