Adding the WOW factor with additives:

Easy to process additives with less environmental impact that deliver a wide range of consumer benefits, and provide outstanding visual and touch-related effects.

• New Ceridust® wax range based on Clariant’s Metallocene Technology platform for powder coatings that increases anti-slip, improves sealant adhesion, and reduces pinholes.
• New PTFE-free Licocene® PE MA 4351 FG structuring / texturizing wax agent for powder coatings with unique aesthetics and protection.

New pigment ranges to ease the way to perfect colors:

New possibilities provide simplified production together with optimum color dispersion for industrial and decorative coatings.

• Clariant’s launch of new Easily Dispersible (ED) Pigments at ECS 2011 enables colorant and paint producers for decorative and industrial applications to take advantage of easy, uniform dispersion for more colors than ever before.

Optimizing performance and protection:

Performance-boosting paint and coating wetting and dispersing agents that take production economics and environmental impact into account across a broad range of end applications.

• Clariant launches Dispersogen® ECS – a one-product, complexity-reducing answer to achieving pigment pastes with highly-effective dispersion, high tint strengths and good compatibility in both waterborne and solvent-borne coatings. Dispersogen ECS is readily biodegradable (OECD 301 D) and APEO-free.
• Clariant prioritizes pigment producers’ need for simplicity without compromising on high-performance with its one-stop modular system of four non-APEO containing / low VOC Dispersogen dispersing agents for waterborne pigment preparations.
• Genapol® ED3060 organic pigment-based wetting and color enhancer for waterborne paints, suitable for use at low concentrations.
• The innovative JMAC® Silver Technology offers long-term antimicrobial protection and meets Ecolabel standards for paints and coatings. It provides highly-effective, long-term In-can preservation at small levels and is easy to formulate, making it an economical and simple-to-use choice.
• Clariant was one of the first to launch a 100% APEO-free alternative to replace AP derivatives for the manufacture of binder emulsion polymers. In addition to its low VOC levels, Emulsogen® EPA 073 is now one of few anionic emulsifiers with FDA approval.
