First Hostel Staff Meeting 2007 in Berlin

Receptionists from all over Europe meet up on 31th of March 2007 in Berlin at baxpax downtown Hostel Hotel.

There are a lot of congresses and meetings for manager and owner in the hotel business, but up to now nothing for receptionists. Lars a receptionist at baxpax downtown Hostel wanted to change this situation. His boss Ante Zelck give him a listen. He provided for the weekend 50 beds, the lounge and the Optica Club for free. All further beds have a 50% discount and we have still some beds off. From up to now the Hostel Staff Meeting should be at least once a year.

The receptionists from all over Europe are going to meet on the last March weekend from 31.03. - 01.04.2007. The participants whose are applied so far come from Prague, London, Munich, Cracow, Budapest, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Brussel. At the Hostel Staff Meeting are not going to be lectures or training courses, it’s for interexchanges of experiences and events. At the receptionists party on 31.03.2007 from 9 pm will be as well a lot of Berlin receptionists and some guides from walking tours. Everybody who is interested in should join us.

The networking between the receptionists is quite important. With a known receptionist the recommend Hostels get a face. Because of that the baxpax Hostels Hotels established the Give-it-to-me-Contest last year. With the award the baxpax Hostels Hotels Berlin want to thank all the receptionists whose supported the network mostly. For the thanks we prepared a surprising gift.

The BACCOS (Berlin Accomodation Services) GmbH is young and dynamical – but as well an accommodation company with a lot of experiences, which established the first Hostel in Germany in 1994. In 1999 subjoined to Mittes Backpacker Hostel the second hostel baxpax Kreuzberg Hostel. Since May 2006 the BACCOS GmbH administrated with baxpax downtown Hostel Hotel the third house and reached with it a bed number of altogether above 400 beds in Berlin.

Beside the core business the BACCOS GmbH is publishing a Europe wide Hostelguide, named PLAiN VANiLLA magazine, that’s running the 4th year. To the internet presence of the company and administration work for the Hostels Hotels the Baccos GmbH is coaching additionally the berlin-pages.de, an internet portal with a lot of informations about Berlin and whose events.
