Press release from: IAPAM

Botox injections have surged in popularity, rising 584 percent since 2000. The IAPAM is helping physicians enter this lucrative cash based services market by offering dermatologist-led Botox Training in at its Aesthetic Medicine Symposium in Scottsdale, Arizona. In just 2 days of comprehensive, hands-on, physician-led training, physicians will learn everything they need to know, to start offering Botox and other in-demand aesthetic medicine procedures.

Las Vegas, NV, May 03, 2011 -- According to statistics published by the ASPS, botox injections have exploded in popularity, rising almost 600 percent since 2000. In excess of 5.3 million botox treatments were performed in 2010, while other cosmetic procedures, such as rhinoplasty and face lifts have declined. Injectables fueled the growth in cosmetic treatments, with soft tissue fillers, like fat injections, rising 14%. These statistics translate into an increase in the number of patients seeking out botox (http://www.iapam.com/botox-training) and other minimally invasive cosmetic procedures, including: dermal filler injections, lasers for skin rejuvenation, medical microdermabrasion, and chemical peels.

To assist physicians in entering the aesthetic medicine field, the IAPAM's Aesthetic Medicine Symposium (http://www.aestheticmedicinesymposium.com) was designed by physicians for physicians, and has integrated the most important clinical, aesthetic medicine business, and botox training into one weekend, including:

dedicated instruction from board-certified dermatologists, who are true experts of the skin and cosmetic injectables.

hands-on practice in the best injection techniques.

botox training at a multi-million dollar medical practice, not in a hotel room.

an environment that does not allow exhibitors, giving doctors more time for education.

the opportunity to attend the Symposium's Aesthetic Practice Startup Workshop (http://www.iapam.com/bootcamp.html), a program highlighting the latest information on medspa business development and social media marketing.

the opportunity to attend the IAPAM's hCG/Medical Weight Management (http://www.aestheticmedicinesymposium.com/physician-hcg-weight-loss-training), which covers hCG for weight loss, prescription appetite suppressants, ketogenic diet based programs, meal replacements and B6/12 injections.

To date, over 850 physicians, as well as their accompanying medspa managers, registered nurses, and assistants, have attended the IAPAM's Aesthetic Medicine Symposiums and hCG for Weight Loss Training, and physicians who have attended the Aesthetic Medicine Symposium with Botox training testify its comprehensiveness, and the year of practice support from the IAPAM definitely makes the course different than the others.

For additional information or to register for the next Aesthetic Medicine Symposium, please contact the IAPAM, at 1-800-219-5108 ext. 704, or visit http://www.aestheticmedicinesymposium.com.
