Olching, 3rd May 2011: The new release 5.85 of serVonic’s fax- and unified messaging solution IXI-UMS is available now. More comfort for the users, enhanced security settings as well as a simplified administration have been in the focus of the further development. For the MultiSite-operation – use of serVonic’s solution at several sites – IXI-UMS SMS and MWI are also available now.

Administration: Context-Sensitive Help and License Overview
Thanks to the context-sensitive help, the administrator now has a “help”-feature with explanations at his disposal for all the IXI-UMS components in the respective tab. The new User Count in the License Overview offers a better overview of the licenses in use at the moment. In addition to that, further simplifications with the printing of sending reports, the new date-time “mark” as well as an enhanced user look-up in the journal are available.

Security: Extended Blacklist and Suspicion Report
With the new version 5.85, serVonic once again intensified the security standard of its software. The extended blacklist now allows the call blocking inbound as well as outbound. When a user not entered in the AD tries to send a UMS-message, a default recipient can be informed by e-mail optionally. Higher security standards with the PIN-settings as well as the remote inquiry of the IXI-UMS Enhanced Voice Package round off the improved security features.

User Comfort: New Mobile Personal Homepage and Web-Application for Fax Delivery
The reworked Mobile Personal Homepage – among other things – offers the user a better overview and the possibility of a user-dependent interval timer of the voice boxes. By means of a simple HTML-page, the users now can make use of individual fax cover pages and enter an individual header.

IXI-UMS for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.x and NAV 2009
Via the interface IXI-UMS NAVconnect, IXI-UMS Fax- and Unified Messaging-features can be provided for the Microsoft Business Solution Dynamics NAV. IXI-UMS 5.85 is available for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.x as well as NAV 2009 with “Classic Client“. The connection to Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 as well as the Microsoft Dynamics NAV RTC “Role tailored Client“ is in preparation.
