After a Circular from the Ministry of Tourism , it is now mandatory for all Five Star Graded hotels to enhance & improve the security at their properties. One of the important aspect recommended in this regards is profiling every temporary workers and perform a thorough scrutiny by undertaking a background check before hiring a worker. It is also recommended to issue an I-Card with relevant details to every temporary worker.
Taj group of hotels has selected Labourworks – Biometric Labour Management Solution in this regards. Recently Taj group has signed an Annual Rate Contract (ARA) with M/S Scrum System P Ltd for providing Labourworks at their various properties for managing the temporary workers. Using Labourworks Taj group hotels will be able to record various details and issue an I-Card with a biometric signature. This will help Taj group in organizing this activity and adhere to the new security norms.
The attendance of the workers will also be recorded using Labourworks . Various reports concerning the Statutory Labour Law can be generated using Labourworks. Periodic Medical check-ups , Induction trainings will be now monitored using Labourworks.
Labourworks is a product by the Pune based company M/S Scrum System P Ltd. Labourworks allows the temporary workers to be profiled on international norms. It also helps in keeping track of Medical Checkups , Induction training etc. It is a biometric enabled system and allows scanning of fingerprints of the temporary workers for identification. After gathering of this information , the badges with photograph can be generated .
