Intertech Achieves Microsoft Application Lifecycle Management Gold Competency

Intertech has achieved Microsoft Partner Gold status in the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Competency. Intertech has been involved with Microsoft’s Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Visual Studio Team System since its alpha release. Intertech is one of three partners in the United States to achieve Gold level status in the ALM Competency and achieve a four or more star rating on Microsoft’s Pinpoint website where customers rate performance.

Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) coordinates all aspects of software engineering. In the Microsoft Gold ALM Competency, partners reinforce process by implementing tools that back-up and trace collaboration across work teams. ALM best practices involve business requirements, technical requirements, application architecture, project status tracking, change status tracking, construction (coding), QA, troubleshooting, and deployment management.

Microsoft Gold Competency in the Partner Program
Achieving a Microsoft Partner Gold Competency is accomplished through a rigorous seven-step process requiring examination and assessment of knowledge, skills and successful business development within the defined area. Only companies demonstrating the highest, most consistent capability and commitment within a specific business solution area are awarded the designation.
The new competency based Partner Network with increased requirements results in a select few achieving the Gold ALM standard. Intertech is one of these elite few.
