Programmer’s Paradise Merges with TechXtend

Shrewsbury, NJ, – Wayside Technology Group Inc. (NASDAQ:WSTG) today announced the merger of its Programmer's Paradise and TechXtend reseller divisions. As of July 1st 2011, the Company will serve end customers in the United States and Canada as TechXtend. This move allows the new TechXtend to serve customers’ demand for total technology solutions: the software, the hardware and the services to implement them.

"In the 30 years that Programmer’s Paradise has been in business, we’ve expanded our expertise beyond our early focus on developer tools," said Shawn Giordano, Vice President of Sales, TechXtend, Inc. The transition will be seamless for customers and for the software and hardware vendors that Programmer's Paradise and TechXtend represent. Effective immediately, the Programmer’s Paradise web site has been renamed as http://www.techxtend.com and the Programmer’s Paradise Canada site has become http://www.techxtend.ca. Web searches for products on Programmer’s Paradise are being automatically redirected to the new TechXtend sites. The Programmers and TechXtend client bases have been combined and customers will continue to research and shop for products on the new sites and they will continue to get the great service, business value and selection that they’ve always received from Programmer’s Paradise.
