The Mayor of Miami Lakes, Michael Pizzi wrote the following about the event:
“Consistent with our Miami Lakes vision, I encouraged the Governor to maintain low taxes and streamline state bureaucracy to allow both cities and local businesses to manage their own affairs and get the people’s business done more efficiently. The Governor stated he would set up additional meetings to follow through on these proposals and I invited him to come to Miami Lakes for future meetings. Accompanying me was Fred Senra, General Manager of Miami Lakes Automall, who advocated for reducing business regulations that prevent job creation. Below is a photo of myself, the Governor and Mr. Senra from last evening’s meeting at La Carreta in Hialeah”
