SDL Announces the Opening of Elevation Center - the Localization Industry’s First Briefing Center for Cloud Computing
Maidenhead - U.K. , United Kingdom 15 June 2011 : SDL (LSE:SDL), the leading provider of Global Information Management solutions, today announced the launch of Elevation Center™, the localization industry’s first online, virtual briefing center for cloud computing. Elevation Center will enable individuals in the localization industry to collaborate, learn, interact and discuss ways to accelerate the adoption of cloud solutions for localization and globalization.Over the last 2 years, there has been an increasing demand for cloud solutions. Preference for SDL’s Software as a Service (SaaS) - based solutions continues to grow rapidly quarter upon quarter. To support this trend and new cloud opportunities for the localization industry, SDL is launching Elevation Center to support a multidimensional, collaborative discussion to bring the industry together on the potential of cloud computing.
Elevation Center will include a series of presentations, educational seminars, live chat sessions, forums, product demonstrations and podcasts - all delivered through innovative cloud platforms. Localization professionals can meet peers, network with others in the center, learn about cloud computing, participate in conversations on topics
of interest to the industry and explore ways to work together.
