SLM Solutions improves flexibility through independence

“Throughout the previous years our developments in Rapid prototyping and manufacturing have influenced and modified the market to the advantage of the customers. This has given us a prime position in competition. Now we do the next step to develop and improve this situation for the future”, says Hans J.Ihde, managing director and owner of SLM Solutions GmbH.
“Our new own product line as well as partner product become more and more first choice for our customer base. With the present and coming improvements of our SLM-range we do expect more interesting discussions with our customers at the coming events and visits. We aim to grow with the best solutions and perfect service and seek closer cooperation with our customers” is pointed out by Henner Schöneborn, technical director of SLM Solutions GmbH.
The new company structure is focused on Quality, flexibility and customer contact. To achieve these goals in November 2010 SLM Solutions GmbH was separated from the previous MTT Technologies Group. One focus will be on R&D to enable customer specific solutions as well as standardized production.
SLM Solutions GmbH, Manufacturer of equipment for small and medium lot production of prototypes and series parts is servicing customers in the field of Vacuum casting, metal casting and Selective Laser Melting for more than 50 years. Focused industries are Automotive, education, consumer electronics, aerospace and medical .
As a pioneer in this field SLM Solutions is developing and producing specific and economical solutions for their customers. The company has long time Know-how in Rapid prototyping processes and customer areas. This knowledge was acquired under the previous company setups and names HEK GmbH, MCP HEK Tooling GmbH, MTT Technologies GmbH and finally today SLM Solutions GmbH
