Stevens-Henager College Launches a New Mobile Website for LearningStudio

Salt Lake City, Utah, September 14, 2011 - Stevens-Henager College, accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), works to equip students for professional success in the current economy and to provide them with an accessible, effective education. As part of its efforts to make its educational offerings as accessible as possible, Stevens-Henager College has recently launched a mobile website which allows students to access their courses through LearningStudio on their smart phones or tablets. With advances in social media networking, people are accustomed to carrying their entire lives with them on their phones. Keeping pace with and utilizing this trend, the new mobile site functions as a mobile app and boasts a variety of features that will allow students to access their courses no matter where they are.

Navigating through the tabs of the app, students can get a clear overview of all the latest activity, discussions, and announcements that have been posted since their last visit. Thus they can stay updated on posts, assignments, class discussions, and more. They can also view approaching events, due dates, quizzes, exams, and other deadlines using the Upcoming feature, which is designed to help students avoid falling behind on their work or submitting any late work. The application will also allow students to view a roster of their peers and professors and communicate with them. Another great feature is the Gradebook, which displays all ungraded and graded papers, assignments, and exams, and provides professors with the option of elaborating on marked grades. Additionally, students have access to technical support for the mobile site 24/7 via phone, email, and live chat.
