OMV and TOTAL to sponsor the Gas Arabia Summit

International oil companies OMV and TOTAL have taken an active role in the 7th edition of the Gas Arabia Summit and joined Oman Gas Company, Oman LNG and UOP among its key sponsors.

The event, endorsed by the Gas Processors Association – GCC section, is set to take place at the Al Bustan Palace, Muscat, Oman from 11-14 December 2011.

OMV will be sharing their plans for sour and tight gas exploration with the audience. Sour and tight gas have never been more in the news.

Oman has been at the centre of attention in the past few months thanks to BP’s explorations in the Khazzan and Makarem fields, a project said to be worth $15 billion. BP Oman General Manager, Dr Jonathan Evans will be among the key speakers of the event alongside representatives from Saudi Aramco, PDO, KNPC and Shell, among others.

TOTAL will be sponsoring the speed exchange networking activity. This unique social exercise created by the Energy Exchange facilitates the building of business relationships and makes sure attendees get the best of the event.
