Hypnotist Dismayed by Ocean County’s Top 3 Smoking Status

(Point Pleasant Beach, NJ) Certified Hypnotist James Malone was disturbed when he recently discovered that Ocean County was ranked #3 on the list of Top 101 counties with the highest percentage of residents that smoked 100+ cigarettes in their lives at 58.4% and that presently 21.5% smoke.

This above the national average status of smokers translates to a higher rate of preventable illnesses that include:

-Lung cancer
-Cancers in other areas of the body
-Emphysema
-Heart disease

The Centers for Disease Control estimate that smoking “accounts for an estimated 443,000 deaths, or nearly one of every five deaths, each year in the United States”

“While these statistics are frightening,” states Malone, a certified hypnotist with 15 years experience, “its been my observation that fear is a poor motivator in the long run. It’s better to focus on the benefits of being a healthy non-smoker for life.
