Aic Raise Backed Startup Makes a Low Cost Automated Handsfree Sanitizer Dispenser

Coimbatore, India, May 28 — Due to COVID-19 and its related consequences, there is a sea change in the hygiene practices and hygiene standards across the world and more particularly in the workplaces. There is an urge among people to maintain their hygiene conditions at par level to avoid any new or further infections which has paved way for numerous hygiene-centric innovative solutions. Startup SR Engineering Incubated at AIC RAISE, supported by Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, Govt of India has developed a low-cost handsfree automated sanitizer dispenser for just less than Rs. 8000 in an industrial grade.

The startup company led by Mr.Dhanakumar, Mr.Rakesh and team has built this product which is named as “Tizer X”. Completely made of industrial grade stainless steel, the product has greater lifetime and quality. With a sanitizer capacity of 5 litres, this low cost dispenser can dispense nearly 3500 to 4000 times for a single load at a rate of 1.5 ml to 2 ml per dispensing which complies with WHO standards for hand sanitization to avoid spready of any infections. The dispensing mechanism is completely handsfree and automated with ultrasonic sensors to prevent spread of infections by coming in contact in the case of traditional sanitizers. Also, the sanitizer level indicator provides real-time indications regarding sanitizer quantity which can be reloaded from time to time.

This product has applications in various areas including hospitals, corporate companies, institutions, government centers, industries, malls and any other areas of mass gatherings.

A unique feature of this product is that it also comes with an inbuilt battery pack which makes the entire model easily movable and has special attentions in needy locations like health camps, test centres etc. With a daily production capacity of 100 nos. the startup is currently moving to CE certification with the support of AIC RAISE.
