Email validation raised to a new level by data8
Mark Carrington, chief technologist at data8 said, “After months of development and testing we are now happy to launch this new service to our clients.”
He went on to explain, “The methods that companies use to validate email addresses vary and here at data8, our service covers all four elements of email validation. These include -
Syntax level, Domain level, Server level and Address level, this gives clients the choice to select the most appropriate level of validation for their needs”.
Data8 also say they can identify what type of server is associated with the address i.e does it use catch-all or greylisting rules, and this significantly improves the accuracy of their validation.
Antony Allen, managing director data8 added, “The introduction of this service will give our clients the most comprehensive email validation service, ensuring they can trust their data. I see this very much as part of data8’s continual review and improvement of services to benefit our clients.”
The email validation service is available both as a batch set-up through data8’s online service and in real time via Integr8.
Allen concluded, “We would recommend that clients check the level of validation that they are currently being offered to ensure they are getting accurate results and not wasting time and money”.
