Dallas Bar Association Hosts State of the County Forum
The public is invited to a forum on the “state of Dallas County.” The one-hour discussion will be held on Thursday, April 19, at 6:00 p.m.Speakers for the event are Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins and Dallas County Sheriff Lupe Valdez.
The forum will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. in the Pavilion at the Belo Mansion, 2101 Ross Avenue in downtown Dallas (garage parking available; enter from Olive Street). The event is free and the public is welcome.
Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP to sevans@dallasbar.org so adequate seating is available.

The Dallas Bar Association and Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas have concluded the annual “Equal Access to Justice Campaign,” which funds the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program in order to provide free legal assistance to over 4,000 low-income families with civil legal needs each year. The lawyers of Dallas raised a record-breaking—$834,000.
