Baselworld 2012 Review

More than 104,300 visitors (+1% / 2011) from over 100 countries on all continents have once again confirmed the Baselworld as the global exhibition for watches and jewellery. The media interest was also huge: 3,320 (+9% / 2011) accredited journalists represent another record for the Baselworld with regard to media presence. The exhibition in Basel is simply a must for every serious player in the world of watches. The 40th world exhibition for watches and jewellery was a fantastic occasion for BUBEN&ZORWEG.
„The exhibition offered us an opportunity to present our innovations that largely cover previously unchartered business territory. It could not have been any better. The feedback from customers and the media was huge. It was, of course, an outstanding pleasure for us to present such unique masterpieces,“ says Christian Zörweg in analysing the success.

The BASELWORLD 2013 exhibition will centre on a completely new concept and take place in a new hall infrastructure; as such it will herald a new era for the trade show. The BASELWORLD will open its doors to watch and jewellery aficionados in new resplendence from 25 April to 2 May 2013.
