ActiveQuote

ActiveQuote is celebrating the launch of its new look website, http://www.activequote.com, on which customers can compare both health insurance and income protection quotes online.

Since launching in 2009, ActiveQuote has remained the only true health insurance comparison website in the UK. Its innovative comparison technology, as seen on Confused.com, uSwitch and TescoCompare, is unrivalled in the health insurance industry.

After its success in the health insurance market, ActiveQuote has now launched a unique online comparison service for income protection.

Income protection has traditionally been considered too complicated to compare online. But ActiveQuote's state-of-the-art technology disproves this view. Its new comparison tool compares income protection quotes from all the leading UK insurers and allows the consumer to buy a policy online.

Customers can choose whether they want to protect their income, mortgage or their loan repayments against accident, sickness or unemployment. ActiveQuote then searches all the leading UK insurers, including LV=, Aviva, Prudential and 15 others to find income protection quotes that suit the customers circumstances and budget.

ActiveQuote is the first comparison site to combine the comparison of short term income protection, otherwise known as ASU or PPI, with long term income protection which can pay out until retirement.

Once the search is complete, the ActiveQuote comparison technology allows each customer to tailor their quotes online. Users can change their benefit amount, their policy term and their waiting time with instant updates to the prices. After viewing the full details of every policy, the customer can remove unsuitable quotes and buy their chosen policy.

Along with health insurance and income protection, the new look ActiveQuote website is also able to quote life insurance. The new look website gives customers the chance to shop the whole protection insurance market in just a few easy steps.

Managing Director Richard Theo said: ActiveQuote is proud to have led the movement of the health insurance industry into online comparison, and we are very excited to do the same for income protection. Our new comparison system will maintain the quality of user experience that customers have come to expect from ActiveQuote, and set the standard for the protection comparison industry.
