Press release from: Attn Grace : A women Wellness brand

Hello beautiful people!

Today we are here to talk about something unique that the world needs of us, a movement for the better! Our mission, this New Year, is to bring new changes in the way people think and analyze their views for a certain section of the society. How?

This year, we shall keep in mind to talk about stigmas and taboos regarding aging of women. As natural it is for a leaf to turn from green to yellow; as natural it is for an iron piece kept in the sun to deposit rust on itself; equally natural is for all breathing human beings on this universe to age. We like it or not, there is no running away from the reality.

There is mounting proof to recommend that more seasoned grown-ups comprise a badly criticized bunch in almost all parts of the world. In fact, youth is of such incentive in our culture that endeavours to remain youthful fuel multibillion dollars factories of cosmetics, creams and lotions from every corner of this globe. Absolutely, people's endeavours to dodge the close certain and obvious results of mature age uncover the disgrace and pessimistic mentalities related with cutting old age. Like sexism or bigotry, "ageism" alludes to the negative perspectives, generalizations, and practices coordinated toward more seasoned grown-ups dependent on their apparent age.

What should be possible about negative generalizations that depict more established grown-ups as distant, futile, weak, bumbling, forsaken and immaterial? We come across late-night TV satire shows where evidently confused more seasoned individuals are the victim of jokes. Then on to advertisements for hostile to maturing creams comparing youth with magnificence and wrinkles with rot, brutal and unflattering pictures shape suppositions about maturing.

In spite of the fact that individuals may expect great wellbeing and bliss, practically speaking they will in general accept that becoming more seasoned includes disintegration and decrease. Grim assumptions can become unavoidable as individuals begin encountering changes related with becoming more seasoned — throbbing knees or issues with hearing, for example.

In the event that an individual has disguised negative generalizations, his certainty might be dissolved, stress reactions actuated, inspiration decreased and a feeling of adequacy hindered.

But what we need to know and understand that as God’s greatest creation, the mankind must accept and learn to live happily with what the Almighty decides to give us, be it our youth or our wrinkles. As women of this universe, we must share our honest and heartfelt experiences of how we feel about growing old, and what are the stereotypes that we need to fight on a daily basis so it does not affect our psychological health.

Stereotypes and stigmas are the frightful buggers whereupon numerous a misinformed assessments are shaped. Generalizations may seem innocuous to certain individuals, yet for those being generalized, they can be anything other than. What we accept about any wide segment or gathering is at the core of how we treat them as people, how open strategy is resolved and how society comes to esteem or neglect them. Some of the general stereotypes related to aging are discussed below, because we only come across the solution when we realize the problem better.

1. Individuals who work past 65 are obstructing the work pipeline.

More seasoned individuals are working past conventional retirement ages and habitually hear how they are gumming up the pipeline for more youthful individuals.

More established individuals can't generally and don't generally need to leave the work environment. For a few, the explanation is monetary. For other people, it's about their passionate prosperity and a craving to even now contribute in an important manner.

In any case, that mentality has profound social roots. It underscores the social demeanour toward and the degree of regard for the old — or deficiency in that department. In different nations, more seasoned specialists are held in higher worth and approached with deference for their experience and shrewdness. Nobody blames them for being a stop up in the pipes that keeps down others.

2. More elderly individuals are excessively delicate

An older age is often seen to synchronise with an excessive setback of emotions. They are often thought to cry the hardest for the loss of a tooth and laugh hysterically at their grandchildren. This is often seen as too soft or emotional to handle for the outside world.

The words that we speak to the elderly are taken in the sense that it was truthfully said, and not just as a part of “just kidding”. Words are weighed according to their heaviness and feelings are felt direct from the heart and not always the brain.

But really, is feeling emotional anything less than being human? It would be nothing but a blessing to savour each individual aura of emotion that you get to receive from the nature. Let the spiritual energy flow in you no matter what stigmas people relate it to!

3. Elders cannot even control their natural call

Unfortunately this might be true in some cases. Other than knee and back pains this is one greater reason older women are afraid to jump, run and even walk sometimes. Urinary incontinence comes with old age and brings in a whole lot of insecurities along with it. Women tend to pee while coughing or laughing as their bladder muscles do not function accurately now.

But with the problem comes the solution. Markets nowadays contain bladder weakness liners for women to enjoy their day out without worrying about stains on their pants. Panty liners for light bladder leakage are easily available too. Just like diapers for the young, the shops got pads for bladder weakness. So go get your own and take a long walk down the aisle!

Now that we know some basic stigmas related to aging, let us not hesitate to talk about our own! Let us see being old as an encouraging journey where we get to see the world a little longer and from a different perspective. Let us share being old- openly and with compassion through mindful connection.

Let us spark the much needed conversation we require and allow other women to be a part of it. Talk about your embarrassing and funny and emotional moments of being old. This year let us celebrate each moment of our lives being grateful, speaking our minds and holding our hands for a bigger and brighter future, a future where everyone has a part to contribute to the joy no matter what section of the society they belong to!

As a 22-year-old very passionate about breaking the stigma around menstruation, I talk a LOT about periods. However, something that I think about quite often (but don’t have the knowledge or experiences to take action on) is the lack of conversation about menopause and incontinence. If you think periods are stigmatized…think about how little we even know about or hear about menopause mentioned. That’s why I was so excited when
