PIA of Tennessee is Raising the Stakes with their 2021 Convention

(Franklin, TN - July 7, 2021) - The Professional Insurance Agents Association of Tennessee announced the opening of registration for their 2021 Convention. “We’ve been disconnected for too long,” says PIA of Tennessee President, Neal McConnico. “We are excited to bring Tennessee Agents and our company partners back together. This event has been designed to balance education, networking, and time to relax. The beautiful Muscle Shoals location provides something for everyone.”
The weekend will kick off with the PIA TN Golf Tournament at Cypress Lakes Golf Course. Golfers will tee off at 12:30 pm on Friday, August 27 for this best ball scramble.
Convention officially begins on Friday evening with a Welcome Reception, complete with local entertainment. Agents will have the opportunity to dine with their favorite insurance company and MGA representatives.
The agenda for Saturday, August 28 combines a full day of interactive education sessions with innovative networking opportunities. Featured speakers include Jason Cass, Host of the Agency Intelligence Podcast and Scott Howell, Host of The Insurance Guys Podcast. Both are progressive independent agency owners with a wealth of practical, business-building knowledge to share.
Networking will take place in the “Raising the Stakes” themed Trade Show featuring more than 40 insurance companies, MGAs, and solution providers.
“The 2021 event is designed around feedback from our members,” says Tom Gernt, PIA of Tennessee President-Elect. “Our members and partners requested a condensed, weekend format. With the pace of business today, there just isn’t time to be out of the office during the week.”
The 2021 Convention will close with the President’s Dinner and Awards. “We want all attendees to walk away a winner,” says McConnico.
