Wizard World To Debut Oregon Comic Con, February 22-24, 2013, In Portland

Additional celebrities, artists, exhibitors and other attractions will be announced in the coming weeks.
“We are thrilled to be adding Wizard World Oregon Comic Con to our 2013 schedule of events and introduce a new region to our exciting shows,” said John Macaluso, Wizard World CEO. “The city of Portland and Oregon Convention Center are a great fit, and the timing is ideal on the convention calendar.”
Wizard World Oregon Comic Con is currently the first event on the 2013 Wizard World slate, which also includes shows in Philadelphia (May 30 - June 2) and Chicago (August 8-11), with dates for others to be determined. The 2012 schedule continues this month in Columbus, Ohio (Sept. 28-30), Austin, Texas (Oct. 26-28) and New Orleans (Nov. 30 – Dec. 2).
Wizard World Oregon Comic Con, produced by Wizard World, Inc. (WIZD.PK), will bring together thousands of fans of all ages to celebrate the best in pop-fi, pop culture, movies, graphic novels, comics, toys, video gaming, television, sci-fi, gaming, original art, collectibles, contests and more. Show hours are Friday, February 22, 5-9 p.m.; Saturday, February 23, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.; and Sunday, February 24, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
