SYSGO strengthens presence in Turkey by partnering with G-TEK
Ankara - Turkey, Mainz - Germany, October 9, 2012SYSGO announced today a formal distributor agreement with the Turkish company G-TEK. SYSGO is a leading supplier of software solutions for the world’s most demanding safety and security applications. G-TEK is a distributor of flexible and field-proven software solutions for companies developing embedded systems.
Due to the success of SYSGO’s products PikeOS and ELinOS the company is expanding quickly and sees an increasing demand for its solutions in numerous territories. To efficiently address new opportunities in the Turkish market, SYSGO is now partnering with G-TEK, a company providing software solutions, training, consultating and technical support to its customers.
Nowadays, software is getting more important in embedded systems. G-TEK’s added value relies on its capacity of providing high-quality solutions for real-time and embedded systems, performing software testing and guaranteeing security. SYSGO’s growth strategy is based on a well defined distribution channel policy and carefully selected partners. That’s why G-TEK was chosen as the new Turkish distributor.

PikeOS is built upon the Safe & Secure Virtualization (SSV) technology that enables multiple operating system interfaces, called Personalities, to work on separate sets of resources within a single machine. PikeOS has the largest range of supported Personalities of the market, including PikeOS Native, ARINC 653, Linux, POSIX, ANDROID™MS and many others. PikeOS supports many different single- and multi-core processor architectures such as x86, PowerPC, MIPS, ARM, SPARC or SH. Support of multi-core offers a flexible approach to the user, from a pure AMP (Asymmetric Multi Processing) to full SMP (Symmetric Multi Processing). Thanks to its microkernel architecture, PikeOS is certifiable to safety standards like DO-178B/C, IEC 61508, EN 50128 or ISO 26262, is MILS compliant, is currently involved in various security standard CC’s EAL certification projects and has achieved the First Level of Security Certification delivered by the French Network and Information Security Agency.
ELinOS is a comprehensive development environment for embedded Linux software development. Unlike traditional Linux implementations, SYSGO’s ELinOS is purpose-built for use in demanding industrial applications. SYSGO brings 15+ years of field expertise to make an embedded Linux offering well suited for real-world complex applications, and to back it up with world-class support. Many BSPs corresponding to the most successful boards on the market are included as well as BSPs for virtualization engines such as QEMU and VMware, or for the other SYSGO flagship product PikeOS. Besides the widely-used x86 version, ELinOS also supports PowerPC-, ARM-, MIPS-, SPARC and SH-platforms.
Both products include CODEO, an Eclipse-based integrated development environment that provides guided configuration, remote debugging (often down to the hardware instruction level), target monitoring, remote application deployment, and timing analyses in addition to standard application development features such as compilers and assemblers.
