C4B presents XPhone™ UC Appliances, an out-of-the-box solution for companies with up to 1,000 employees.
Germering, 27 February 2013 – C4B Com For Business AG has announced the launch of XPhone UC Appliances aligned towards companies of various sizes. Companies thereby receive fully pre-installed all-in-one solutions for efficient communication and collaboration between employees in the office, working from home or on the road.


These XPhone UC Appliances are available in three different versions designed for companies with up to 25, 250 or 1,000 employees, respectively. They comprise the entire pre-installed XPhone Unified Communications software from C4B and Dell Server which is especially co-ordinated to the software requirements. XPhone UC Appliances can be seamlessly integrated in existing IT landscapes and support all recognised ISDN- and IP-based PBX systems. XPhone UC Appliances link various TC systems or locations to form a uniform communication solution for the entire company.

XPhone UC Appliances enable the integration of all contact data and communication channels in company business processes. A wide variety of communication channels such as telephone, mobile, fax, voicemail, text message and instant messaging are united and combined with presence information while integrated collaboration services such as desktop sharing, for example, facilitate collaboration within the company. The solutions can be easily integrated in Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes or Tobit or even in applications of critical importance for the company such as CRM or ERP systems, and offer an extensive range of services. These include Computer Telephony Integration for Windows, Mac and Linux users as well as the integration of mobile employees with their various mobile end devices including iPhone, Android, BlackBerry or Windows Phone. In addition to fax reception and transmission from the PC or an intelligent voicemail system which automatically synchronises with the user's calendar, the extensive feature set also includes integrated presence management, collaboration services and a switchboard with automatic call pick-up and transfer.
