Internal control systems are designed to ensure decisions are effectively implemented within companies and are required by law for certain forms of companies. IT specialists and financial experts will explore and examine best practices for implementing these types of systems at the event.
Dr. Bettina Schiller, Chair of Banking and Finance at the University of Paderborn and Director of the Center for Risk Management (CeRiMa), will discuss how banks rate internal control systems and their impact on lending operations. Rainer Büsing, Head of IT Auditing at Wincor Nixdorf Portavis GmbH, is set to report on his experiences gained in the rollout of an internal control system based on auditing standards at the service provider. In addition, Arnd Mückenberg, Managing Director at Cyberport GmbH in Dresden, will speak about internal control systems and how they are used by mail-order retailers.
