serVonic IXI-UMS is OpenScape Ready: The fax- and unified messaging-server in version 6.0 has been certified for the SIP-interface of the OpenScape Voice V7R1 – former HiPath 8000. Siemens Enterprise Communications has tested the features “Voice“, “MWI“ and “Fax“ in its Customer Solution Lab in Munich. All the features worked perfectly, the certification process gave no cause for complaint whatsoever. As a result, the company confirms the smooth operation of serVonic’s software solutions with the IP-PBX OpenScape Voice V7R1.

“The extensive tests show the excellent collaboration of our software solution IXI-UMS at PBX’s of Siemens Enterprise Communications,“ Jochen Klein, CEO at serVonic GmbH, explains. “As a result, our customers can be sure that our solutions run with their Siemens PBX’s.” serVonic GmbH and Siemens Enterprise Communications GmbH & Co. KG are bound by a long-time technology partnership.

serVonic’s IXI-UMS Unified Messaging Server unifies all sorts of messages – e-mails, faxes, voice mails and short messages (SMS) – within one user interface, e.g. Microsoft Outlook or IBM Notes. The feature “Voice” allows the user to make use of a personal, software-based voice mailbox; the messages are routed to his inbox as e-mail with WAV-file attachment. He can listen to them on the phone or via loudspeaker at his PC. The feature “MWI“ – Message Waiting Indication“ – signals an unanswered call at the telephone display in the user’s inbox. The feature “Fax“ enables the user to send, receive, administer and process faxes with his e-mail client.

The OpenScape Voice V7 by Siemens Enterprise Communications is a native SIP-based real-time Voice over IP-system. It offers a wide range of features and can be operated on-premises, as private or public Cloud for 100.000 users as well as networked for an unlimited number of users.
