Introducing the New EU Cosmetic Regulation

The EU Cosmetic regulation applies from July 11, 2013 and supersedes Cosmetics Directive 76/768/EEC. The new regulation introduces several new features such as a more detailed cosmetic safety assessment (CPSR or Cosmetic Product Safety Report), a comprehensive documentation file (PIF or Product Information File) and new requirements concerning the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP, ISO 22716).
