Breanna Charles Studio rebrands itself as Charles/Banana to create transgender and no-binary opportunities

After her return to the art and design space, and finding herself struggling to find employment after her transition. Breanna found that a disparity in the lack of creative awareness and growth was missing in her community.

[New York, October, 9, 2022]-Breanna Charles Studio, an art and design studio, owners of upcoming Charles/Banana and Basement and Stuff Retail, announce upcoming growth within the company to counteract the disparity of the transgender and non-binary communities not represented in the art and design community.

After transitioning herself over a year ago, Breanna had her corporate job and what she now calls her "safe bubble", and found when it was time to leave it was and still is a struggle to find employment after her transitions. Even with successful NFT collections and a body of work and great references, she completely understood why transgender and non-binary communities resort to such drastic measures to make ends meet.
"Society doesn't want to hire what they call non-safe, trans, human or non-binary folks, but judge us on how they have to make money to survive. It's a losing battle just to be yourself".
So now Breanna Charles wants to create opportunities.

Merge Charles/Butter as one singular house that will drive design and retail opportunities, that will lead to hiring opportunities for trans and non-binary folks

Start a foundation by Dec.1st 2022, called "The Incubator" to mentor and grow art and NFT opportunities for trans and non-binary youth.

Re-brand Basement and Stuff, a completely genderless brand that will focus on being genderless and hopefully hire within the community.

"This will be a great service to the trans, a true non-binary folks, to have them experience what others in society and the gatekeepers won't allow". Breanna Charles of Breanna Charles Studio, says. " I didn't come from the ballroom culture and a lot of us don't belong to houses; this will create opportunities and growth to hopefully build their own house and meet some great connections long the way".

This announcement is after securing an office for the companies, growth on Madison ave. a first for the trans community
