Skelta SharePoint Accelerator 2007 showcased at Malaysia TechEd

Skelta Software, winner of the best BPM Workflow solution - Attendee award TechEd 2007 participated in Malaysia Tech Ed in the week of 10th Sept . Skelta SharePoint Accelerator 2007, Skelta BPM.NET 2007 and Skelta DMS were among the Skelta products featured at the event.

Skelta SharePoint Accelerator 2007 is an Office Business Application that provides many compelling reasons to jump start BPM initiatives on the SharePoint platform. It seamlessly integrates business processes with SharePoint document libraries and lists to enable businesses to quickly develop BPM-enabled business applications and implement processes on SharePoint. The product introduces several unique features such as the Skelta Enterprise Console, a central portal for design, publishing and administration of workflows, Skelta Workflow Lists with options for workflow management within SharePoint and the Skelta Central Configuration site.

Skelta SharePoint Accelerator allows business users to associate SharePoint lists and libraries with a Skelta workflow from multiple options – as an option in Workflow Settings, from Skelta Enterprise Console, and from the Skelta Workflow List in a SharePoint site.

Installation is quite simple – the Skelta Configuration Wizard guides one through the steps of configuring the application.

Other highlights of the solution include Skelta Wizards to guide business users through steps in creating approval processes, moving or copying a document from one SharePoint folder to another and provisioning a workflow for SharePoint.

Besides powerful BPM workflow functionality, Skelta SharePoint Accelerator offers extensive features for business users – it enables them to act on and respond to tasks from within Outlook. Skelta ‘s 2007 Outlook integration utility not only adds context-sensitive menus to Outlook but also adds Skelta ribbon bar with activity-specific options.

Malaysia Tech Ed also saw the newest product from Skelta’s stable, Skelta Document Management Solution. Skelta DMS leverages on SharePoint functionality for document storage and combines key Document Management features such as scanning, indexing, search, annotations with Skelta BPM workflows, BAM, KPIs, and Skelta’s intuitive process designer.
