After 135 exhibitions in collaboration with 904 artists, 86 studio artists, 117 residencies, and 105 external curators, more than 68 series of events with workshops and lectures, as well as 16 site-specific installations as well as 12 Erste Bank Art Award winners, we are excited to celebrate this milestone together and invite you to participate in the many facets of das weisse haus.
The anniversary program complements the regular exhibition program and explores the diverse possibilities of encountering art in a colorful interplay. Situated between work on relations and a field of experimentation, we have arranged a collage of diverse formats, forms, and times - analog and digital, indoor and outdoor, loud and quiet, temporary and ongoing.
#15yearsdwh is a chance to open up das weisse haus even more for personal and institutional education and connection, to anchor it even more as a social interface where individual and collective reflections can take place. In the process, questions concerning contemporary art-making are to be discussed in open and multi-voiced dialogues.
The anniversary programe #15yearsdwh spans an arc around the potentials of coming together and being together. In cooperation with old and new friends of das weisse haus, we want to shape the coming months with you.
