UK Energy Saving Green Award Nomination is Great Start to their Second Year

It is over twelve months since the consumer website UK Energy Saving was launched and the site’s recent nomination for a Green England Green Award has come at the start of what will hopefully prove to be an equally exciting second year. http://www.uk-energy-saving.com was designed to be an extensive consumer resource on energy saving and related topics, and the breadth of subjects covered has increased as the year has progressed. The initial topics of energy saving, water saving and renewable energies have now been joined by subjects such as alternative fuels and those encompassing green living including a section on organic products and information on eco-friendly home improvements.

It is perhaps this variety of information which has attracted the ever increasing number of visitors to UK Energy Saving and has prompted the site’s nomination for the Best Green Company category of the Green England Green Awards. Back in February the UK Energy Saving team launched a blog to run alongside the main site, and this has also proved to be of great interest to both visitors to http://www.uk-energy-saving.com and ‘bloggers’.

As they get into their second year, the team at UK Energy Saving continue to include further information on yet more relevant topics and Hayley Jones, the site’s Web Marketing Director, comments on what has gone before and what is yet to come. “We have been thrilled with the growth of UK Energy Saving over the past year and the number of visitors and enquiries we receive continues to increase as the site becomes more popular. Innovative ideas such as our Energy Saving Calculator have been very well received and we hope to bring more fresh ideas to the site over the coming months. Watch this space!
