Helping Kids is Always in Style for G2O Spa and Salon

WHAT: Beginning Sunday, April 10th through Thursday, April 14th, 2016 G2O Spa & Salon, Boston’s award-winning day spa and salon located on Newbury Street, is holding a four-day long fundraiser in support of “HAIRraising,” an annual event to benefit the Heart Center at Boston Children’s Hospital. Over the course of the four days G2O will donate 10% of all hair services received at the salon to HAIRraising and its mission. In addition, all clients that book a haircut and coloring service together will receive a complimentary full sized Styling Product or Thermique from Kérastase.

HAIRraising for Boston Children’s Hospital is led by internationally renowned hair stylist, John Frieda of John Frieda Hair Care and John Frieda Salons and his longtime business partner, Gail Federici.

In the past six years, salons have raised more than $850,000 for Boston Children’s Hospital through HAIRraising and the generosity of the salon community. This year’s event is expected to raise over $300,000 for the hospital, which would bring the cumulative fundraising total of HAIRraising to over $1 million.
