He first began gaining notoriety as a writer after the success of "Open Mic Night: Campus Programs That Champion College Student Voice and Engagement". He was awarded an "Outstanding Book Award" from the AERA for my contributions to the collaborative book. In 2018, he published his first of two acclaimed chapbooks "Is It Wonderful. That same year he released his second chapbook "Sunflower BLVD". In 2020, he released his first fulll-length anthology "Our Chemically Altered Romance," to critical acclaim. In October of 2021, he released his second fulll-length anthology "Discontinued: A Short Film" to rave reviews. The first book in this duology, Skyscrapers: Vol: 1, was released in February 2023. Known for their passion for the Phoenix Suns, the adventurous tales of Luffy in One Piece , and a strong advocacy for mental health awareness and social equity, Leshane continues to deliver impactful narratives that provoke thought and inspire change.
