Secret City invites you to its Open House, marking the first event of the season in an immersive celebration of art, play, and mystery. Hosted by Paracademia's Founding Director, Milica Paranosic, this exclusive evening will feature her installation, Secret City, made entirely from upcycled, rejected objects and trashed materials. This innovative approach has earned Milica the title of "Detritus Artist," a reflection of her ability to transform discarded materials into stunning works of art.
The Secret City installation is a narrative-driven world, crafted with meticulous attention to detail. Visitors will encounter whimsical structures and hidden messages woven into the urban landscape, with every object telling a story of reclamation and transformation. From glowing branches to delicate lace, the installation explores how the smallest, most neglected fragments can create something extraordinary.
Guests will be invited to enjoy secret refreshments while engaging in collaborative activities and games designed to foster interaction and creativity. For those eager to dive deeper into the installation, mini tours will take place at 7:00 PM, 8:00 PM, and 9:00 PM, offering intimate glimpses into the hidden corners of Secret City.
Due to the nature of the event and its limited gallery-style seating (more of a mingle than a sit-down affair), access is restricted to ensure an exclusive experience. This event is free, but entry is by invitation only.
