The NASA has been used the Small Animal DXA 'InAlyzer' for MHU-8 project | MEDIKORS
MEDIKORS InAlyzer was finally selected as the equipment to be used for NASA's space environment biological research, after competing with body composition research equipment around world.InAlyzer is the world-first 108µm DXA (Dual energy X-ray Absorptiometry) body composition analyzer for lab animals in 2014 and it provides Bone Mineral Density and body composition results due to total body high resolution imaging within 1 minute.
With fast imaging, you can quick access to your critical data and are more secure to animals.
InAlyzer allows automated accurate and precise measurement of bone and tissue for small animals from 10-2000g basically. It is ideal for longitudinal studies because of the excellent precision of BMD and Fat.
The user-friendly software program that reflects user requirements is recognized by users for its quality and technology due to its diverse functions and ease of use. Its technology has been recognized and trusted by renowned governmental research institutes, universities, university hospitals and pharmaceutical companies around the world, and over 100 SCI-level papers has been published.

The Joint Partial-Gravity Rodent Research Mouse Habitat Unit-8 (MHU-8), is a collaboration between NASA, the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), Harvard Medical School, Northwestern University, Loma Linda University, the University of California-Davis and the University of Tsukuba.
