Madison, WI - As federal policy shifts place programs supporting nonprofit organizations under review, Madison Web Works founder Colleen Brabender is taking action.

In response to the potential rollback of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and other critical funding, Madison Web Works is launching a charitable website initiative to support nonprofit organizations working to uplift communities.

"I was just as qualified-if not more qualified-than my male counterparts, yet without DEI initiatives, my opportunities may have been limited," said Brabender, a 37-year veteran of the Information and Technology industry. "It is disheartening to see these programs now at risk of being diminished."

After decades in IT, Brabender transitioned into entrepreneurship, launching Madison Web Works while continuing her lifelong commitment to nonprofit service. Now, as her business thrives, she is giving back in a meaningful way.

Giving Back: Free Websites for Nonprofits

To honor her late mother's birthday Colleen Brabender of Madison Web Works will donate a professionally designed one-page website to any 501(c)(3) nonprofit for each Premium level or higher website package sold between now and February 22, 2025.

"I spent much of my adult life volunteering because I couldn't afford to donate money. Now that my business is successful, I want to pay it forward. Many nonprofits struggle with visibility, and a well-built website can make all the difference in their ability to reach and serve their communities."

This initiative comes at a critical time as federal funding uncertainties create new challenges for nonprofit organizations.
