Matrix Donating Space for Guest Meetup Events

Phoenix real estate investing academy, the Matrix, is now donating space for potential Meetup Events to be held. The Matrix headquarters is a 30,000 sq ft office building in downtown Phoenix right by the airport. The idea to allow some of the unused space to be utilized for holding Phoenix Meetups comes from the credo of the Matrix which is to leave every neighborhood where they have been better than it was before.

Phoenix, AZ, December 07, 2016 -- Phoenix real estate investing academy, the Matrix, is now offering space for potential Meetup Events to be held. The facility is located at 2406 S 24th Street in Phoenix; right near the airport. From hosting their own meetups the Matrix saw the need for a place for Meetup events to be held other than at a bar or restaurant.

Meetup.com is an online social network where individuals form online clubs and connect with others interested in that topic. From there, “meetups” are scheduled for the members of the club can meet and interact with each other. The Meetup interface acts as a social network and allows members to communicate with each other. It also allows for the club to schedule meeting and send out notices while accepting and keeping track of RSVPs. The online interface also acts as a group Library of resources for photos and files.

In Phoenix, up until now, these Meetups were held in wherever and whatever space was available. This was frequently in restaurants, bars, coffee shops, libraries and other public places. There really was lacking an actual, dedicated, space for Meetups Phoenix clubs to hold their events.

Matrix CEO, Daniel Scott, says, “In Phoenix, there really was a lack of good places to hold Meetup events. Let's face it, not every Meetup club wants to have to remain hushed in a library, or meet in a cramped coffee house or noisy bar. I really saw the need of a space for this exploding social media phenomenon.”

Daniel Scott says, “We rehabbed this huge office building, and have all of this space available, I thought that it would be good to put it to use for a good cause and bringing people together is always a good cause.”

Right now, there are hundreds of Meetup groups located around Phoenix including meetups Scottsdale and meetups Tempe.
