About the Festival
OMNI is a biannual festival dedicated to showcasing the latest advancements in generative video. As this creative field rapidly evolves, OMNI aims to provide a platform for innovative works from creators worldwide, regardless of age or experience. The preview edition, OMNI: 0.5, serves as a precursor to the full-scale festival planned for late 2025, establishing the submission process, categories, and judging criteria.
Call for Submissions
Filmmakers and creators are invited to submit their AI-generated and generative films for consideration in OMNI: 0.5. In recognition of this inaugural event, submission fees are waived. The deadline for submissions is April 10, 2025 (Midnight AEST).
The preview festival has been a resounding success, drawing over 500 entries since its launch earlier this year from over 20 countries. The entries vary in style and substance, ranging from under one minute to feature film length.

Screened Selections Event
Join us for an intimate evening featuring selected screenings of award-winning films, discussions with filmmakers, and insights from experts in generative AI and technology. The event will also include commentary from our esteemed jury panel on the emerging trends in generative cinema. Capacity is limited.
