Local Team Advances to Destination Imagination's Global Finals, the Largest Celebration of Creativity in the World

Stratton, Ohio (April 6, 2025) - After earning high honors for creativity, teamwork, and innovation in regional and state tournaments, F BEE I, with It's All Relative has secured a spot at Destination Imagination's Global Finals, the world's largest celebration of student creativity. The competition will take place May 22-25 in Kansas City, Missouri, bringing together the most innovative young minds from around the globe.
The team, led by Jaime Price, consists of:
● Kathryn, C. - Grade 12 Edison High School
● C.J, J - Grade 12 JVS
● Kaley, B - Grade 12 JVS
● Zamara, R - Grade 12 JVS

And the second team although not placing in the top three has been invited to participate as well.

Hannah, H - grade 10 Indian Creek High School
Elexis, K - grade 10 Indian Creek High School

Among 500 teams from more than 20 countries, F Bee I earned their spot at Global Finals by excelling in the Less is More -, Fine Arts challenge and Are you my Pappy competed in Worlds Beyond - the Science Challenge. Their solution required them to apply skills in STEM, the arts, and more while collaborating to develop a unique and engaging presentation.

When asked how did participating in DI help you "When taking a risk don't obsess over perfection, perfection is when you're happy" - Kat , "Don't let others get you down, you CAN do what you put your mind to "- Z both on the F BEE I and CJ tells us "Just because someone else doesn't enjoy your story doesn't mean your story isn't worth telling".

Destination Imagination (DI) is a global educational nonprofit that empowers students to develop 21st-century skills through project-based learning and STEM-based challenges. Each year, more than 30,000 students worldwide participate in DI, and Global Finals represents the pinnacle of their creative journey.

It's All Relative is a group of adults formed to support students that wanted to continue to participate and compete in Destination Imagination, with no available teams for them at their home school. School Sponsorship is not a requirement to have a team so the founding members came together to support them on their journey to work their chosen challenges until they either graduate or finish their journey. The teams remained open to anyone that needed a team that wanted to participate regardless of school district attended.
