OpenPayd's Ozan Ozerk Named Enterprise Entrepreneur at 2025 Enterprise Awards

London, 19 June 2025 - Dr. Ozan Ozerk, founder of OpenPayd, has been named "Enterprise Entrepreneur" at this year's Enterprise Awards, an event that celebrates the UK's most impactful technology founders. The ceremony took place at Drapers' Hall on the evening of 18 June, bringing together leaders from across the innovation and investment landscape.

The recognition comes after a period of substantial growth for OpenPayd. In the past 12 months, the company reached 100% growth for the second consecutive year, sustained profitability, and now serves over 800 clients globally with embedded banking and payments infrastructure.

The Enterprise Awards, run by TX2 Events, are known for spotlighting entrepreneurs rather than just business metrics. Past winners include the founders of Zoopla, Skyscanner, and Revolut. The "Enterprise Entrepreneur" category in particular recognises leaders of high-growth scaleups who combine vision with operational excellence.

OpenPayd's trajectory suggests it is well-positioned for the next phase of market expansion. With embedded finance forecast to unlock more than €600 billion in new revenue across Europe by 2028, the demand for compliant, developer-friendly infrastructure continues to grow.
