With an extensive experience of over twelve years in performing all kinds of Orthopaedic and Spine surgeries, Dr Tiwari did his first independent Total Hip Replacement and Total Elbow Replacement in 2003 at Nazareth Hospital and became the first person to do so, in Allahabad.
Furthermore, he did his Fellowship in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine from Singapore General Hospital. Under the astute guidance of Dr. Paul Chang, he practiced the art of Arthroscopy and management of Sports injuries.
Dr Tiwari pursued MCh (Orth) at Ninewells Hospital and Medical School, UK. During the course, he got trained by Professor David Rowley, (FRCS), one of the Pioneers of Joint Replacement Surgeries and Mr. Ben Clift, (FRCS), Director, Joint Reconstruction. With focused training in primary and revision joint surgeries of Hip, Knee, Elbow, shoulder and Ankle, Dr Anant Kumar Tiwari mastered the techniques of Robotic, Navigation and Minimally Invasive Surgery in Total Joint Replacement during the course.
