Off to a Strong Start in the New Year
POOL4TOOL on the Right Track for Continued GrowthVienna | Stuttgart | Munich | Belgrade | Detroit | Singapore | Dubai, January 19, 2017 – The procurement software vendor, POOL4TOOL, is off to a strong start in 2017. The Sales team welcomed Markus Klahn as the new Vice President of Sales and also gained Heikki Salmi, an experienced expert who will represent the company in the Scandinavian countries. In 2017, the company’s 145 employees will focus on making further developments in the manufacturing industry as well as in Cognitive Procurement.
POOL4TOOL, the international procurement software vendor, began 2017 by setting a course for continued growth. In the coming year, POOL4TOOL plans to continue developing its intelligent procurement platform in order to ensure that its customers are well-equipped for the challenges of Industry 4.0. This will involve a continued focus on Cognitive Procurement and will be achieved by making strategic hiring decisions and by working towards the long-term digitization of purchasing departments and supply chains.
New Leader in the Sales Team(www.p4t.info/growthpp)
Markus Klahn (48), the new Vice President of Sales at POOL4TOOL, will now be contributing his valuable expertise to the international company, where he is responsible for Sales in the EMEA economic region. Before joining POOL4TOOL, Klahn was the CEO at the German ERP provider, abas GmbH & Co. KG, where he was responsible for Sales. He also held a top leadership position within the proALPHA Group, where he specialized in Sales and played a critical role in the company’s development and success since 1998. At POOL4TOOL, he will be working with both new and existing customers. “I’m looking forward to the new job and the dynamic work environment,” says Markus Klahn, as he discusses his new position. “The people here are very motivated and I think that we can achieve a lot together.”
In addition to the growing markets in America and the United Arab Emirates, POOL4TOOL also sees significant sales potential in Scandinavia. The local expert in the field, Heikki Salmi (53) will now be representing POOL4TOOL in the Nordic countries. With more than 20 years of experience in the fields of ERP and eProcurement and an in-depth knowledge of current procurement systems, Salmi is the best choice to represent the company in Finland. Demand for procurement software and services has recently been on the rise in this region. Software for the end-to-end process in particular has been in demand, and Heikki Salmi sees a growing market potential in Northern Europe. “This is a result of the general trend towards digitalization of company processes. Global competition offers great opportunities, but also involves certain risks in the supply chain. The interest in long-term procurement software to make purchasing processes more efficient is steadily increasing,” explains Salmi as he offers his assessment of the current situation in Scandinavia, adding that: “In Finland, the all-in-one SaaS platform strategy with widest scope and 300,000 existing suppliers in portal gives POOL4TOOL a definite advantage over competitors.”(www.p4t.info/growthpp)
