YESTERDAY IS ALMOST HERE stars Nicholas Brendon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer; Criminal Minds), Phillip Andre Botello ( THE ART OF SELF-DEFENSE; Criminal Minds) and Tuesday Knight (A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 4: THE DREAM MASTER).
This suspenseful, relationship thriller follows fledgling writer Douglas Wynter (Nicholas Brendon) who suspects his wife of having an affair and embarks on a bewildering odyssey with the lover's wife. The film opens exclusively in theaters Friday, October 31, with an advance screening and Q&A on Thursday, October 30 at LOOK Dine-In Cinemas Monrovia.
Written and directed by Joston Ramon Theney, the critically acclaimed independent film has been lauded as "an elegant yet subtle directorial effort", with MikesFilmTalk exclaiming "I Could Not Stop Watching It!"
Why is Joston Ramon Theney's film so important? In a time when Hollywood productions are leaving the city and/or are un-inspired stories based on existing IP (sequels, requels and reboots), Theney kept his original and inspired film in-state, funded with his savings, and it has been critically praised as "a provocative and refreshingly un-Hollywood portrait of a dysfunctional marriage."
LOOK Dine-In Cinemas Monrovia hosts the film October 31st, with a Q&A screening on Thursday 10/30 at 410 S Myrtle Ave, Monrovia, CA 91016, following the feature
presentation, before expanding the limited release.
