Trafficland Ltd. declares commercial launch of OTA-platform WiTSTM in CJSC “Enisejtelekom” network

Trafficland Ltd. is a the leading Russian software house and system integrator for remote management of SIM, USIM and RUIM cards and mobile terminals and leading mobile operator in Krasnoyarsk region and Republic of Khakassia CJSC “Enisejtelecom” (trademark ETK and Wellcom) announce successful integration OTA WiTSTM (Wireless Transaction Server) platform into the operator’s network and starting of OTA-campaign by change SIM-menu for ETK subscriber’s SIM-cards.
Integration of the platform designed for simultaneously service of 2 millions of subscribers, lasted less than one month. All operational tests were passed successfully and come up to expectations of both companies. Integration of OTA-platform WiTSTM in operator’s infrastructure brings him new opportunities for building relationships with subscribers. Now customer service of CJSC “Enisejtelecom” have an opportunity to remotely manage SIM cards and related network services, to download Java applets and other software to the SIM cards, not necessarily to invite subscribers to the operator’s offices. Upon that it’s unimportant which data’s volume should be to load and as far it’s sensitivity,- capabilities of WiTSTM allows to download in safe and secure manner either card applets taking up dozens of kilobytes or cryptographic keys, passwords and PIN codes by the subscribers’ request.
Thanks to the OTA-platform provided by Trafficland, CJSC “Enisejtelecom” has no more need to change SIM cards for adding new services or editing the old ones. WiTSTM is built to execute several OTA-campaigns at the same time avoiding any cross-effect. Another key benefit of the installed WiTSTM platform for MNO is its ability to dynamically manage of SIM card files, which determine the mobile operator that will serve subscriber in roaming. Thus CJSC “Enisejtelecom” gained not only means to provide their subscribers with the most reliable roaming service but also to optimize its own revenues.
