At UITP Global Public Transport Summit 2017 in Montreal, NetModule, a leading manufacturer of communication products for M2M and IoT, will present its latest wireless routers for entertainment and passenger WiFi in busses and trains on stand 2B102. The certified communication systems combine profound know-how and latest technologies. They reliably connect devices in transportation, public transport and industry, and thus enable wireless communication all over where fix line connections are either too expensive or not feasible at all. Focus is set on the newest vehicle and train routers for wireless data and voice communication and multimedia applications:

NetModule's RAILWAY Router Series are designed for mobile railway communications. The routers comply with the standard EN50155 which is mandatory for most railway appliances. Supporting the latest WAN/LAN technologies (including GSM, UMTS, LTE, WiFi, GSM-R), active GPS and voice calls the routers are offering highly-available connectivity with seamless handover between the broadband links using to the Mobile IP protocol.
The NB3800 MediaRail is a powerful multi-talent system which provides wireless Internet access via LTE as well as media server capabilities for data-intensive applications. It is equipped with multiple LTE and WiFi IEEE 802.11ac modules, 5 Ethernet ports including two for Gigabit transmission. These features enable next generation passenger WiFi, passenger information, digital signage and multimedia applications. An additionally built-in SSD with up to one terabyte storage capacity enables the system to store and to retrieve offline media content. This router is also available in an IP65 or IP67-rated case to protect against environmental influences like water and dust.
The NB3800 MediaRail+ provides wireless Internet access over multiple LTE Advanced (Cat. 6) and WiFi connections for data-intensive applications. Numerous additional communication interfaces guarantee an optimized interaction with onboard electronics.

NetModule's VEHICLE router series are designed for mobile communication in public transportation (e.g. in buses and trams) but also any other kind of vehicular applications such as limousines and caravans. These routers comply with the industry standard 72/245/EWG (e1) which is typically required for such appliances. Supporting the latest WAN/LAN technologies (including GSM, UMTS, LTE, WiFi) they offer high performance connectivity with seamless handover between the different broadband links using the Mobile IP protocol.
NB2800 MediaVehicle is a powerful router for Passenger WiFi and multimedia. With E-mark and ECE-R118 certifications it is the ideal device for passenger WiFi and entertainment as well as condition monitoring and remote management. Integrating a powerful dual core CPU, the NB2800 achieves data rates up to 1 Gbps and enables gigabit routing. The in-vehicle WiFi coverage is enhanced by providing up to two WiFi access points with latest IEEE 802.11ac standard and 2x2 MIMO beam forming technology.
The NB2800 MultiVehicle+ provides wireless Internet access over multiple LTE Advanced (Cat. 6) and WiFi connections for data-intensive applications, numerous additional communication interfaces guarantee an optimized interaction with the onboard electronics.
