Intensive Course of Basic Training for Italian Language Teachers
The course will start in the month of October at "Scuola Leonardo Da Vinci", in Rome (from 6th October to 17th October) and Florence (from 20th October to 31st October).
It will last 70 hours (54 lessons of theory and 16 of practice) and it's divided into six lesson plans created to face the several and different needs of the participants. In addition, a part of the course will be entirely dedicated to a specific lesson plan in preparation for the exam for the Ditals certification obtainment, a graduation by the university for international students of Siena, which certifies the ability level of the teacher of Italian as a foreign language.
This course was born from the will to give to Italian language teachers the most operative instruments to put in practice the most recent innovations in the area of foreign language teaching. It is based on a direct observation made by the teacher on the classes with different linguistic knowledge levels, by encouraging in this way the search of the most appropriate methods and materials for the teaching activities.
Therefore, the training course for Italian language teachers is addressed to everyone who wants to undertake the career of teacher of Italian language as a foreign language, and also to all the teachers who want to improve their skills to face the new requirements of contemporary foreign language teaching.
