RECORD BREAKING AGM FOR FAMOUS PACIFIC SHIPPING
Famous Pacific Shipping, the fast-expanding Asia-based NVOCC and freight services provider, broke all records at its recent Annual General Meeting and Conference in Madrid.More than 100 executives, representing group partners from around the world, attended this year’s conference, undertaking more than 1300 one-to-one meetings – a record for one of the Group’s conferences.
Commenting on this achievement, Iskandar Zulkarnain, chairman of the FPS Group’s Executive Committee, said: “This annual four-day event provides members from around the world with an unbeatable opportunity to meet up and discuss business whilst planning and shaping the future growth of the Famous Pacific Shipping group in regards to network expansion and service development.
“Some delegates have told me that they left the conference with new business in hand which makes the event even more valuable.”
Adds recently appointed Group Executive Director, Oliver Ward: “This was my first AGM, and I gained a clear insight into what’s needed to help drive the group forward. It was apparent that members attend the conference each year because they recognise its value as a serious event that will bring them new business as they build relationships with new partners and develop new markets, while enhancing their existing business relationships.“
In Madrid, delegates voted to hold next year’s conference in Macau where the FPS Group will gather to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its establishment.
Famous Pacific Shipping’s global network now includes 43 individual companies from 22 different nations worldwide, working together under the FPS banner.
