Cockpit4u recently attended as an exhibitor and key sponsor the LCC conference held at Singapore, on 11 and 12 February 2009.

From Feb 11 -12 over 300 Businesses from across Asia-Pacific attended the LCC in Singapore, Asia’s definitive airline conference. The event held at the Suntec Singapore International Convention Centre, was an opportunity for business networking and is one of a series of networking receptions.

The Symposium has covered many aspects of the industry, including:

- Direction of aviation policy;
- Market competition and sustainability;
- Financing the growth;
- Availability of human resource
- Trends in airport infrastructure, including new low cost terminals;
- Innovations in distribution; and
- Implications for the growth of tourism.

Due to the current economical downturn the airlines are under pressure to reduce costs.
